Community Halloween Event 🎃 at the Fire Station 25th October 2025.
With the long weekend coming and near Halloween, the station will open up for the kids (and kids at heart) for an afternoon Halloween treat.
When:

1pm til 4pm

Waitārere Fire Station Forest Road

Free 👀 yep that's right free
Parking:
Please don't park anywhere that will block access for the fire truck to respond.
What to expect:
- free sausage sizzle (limited stock)
- Lollies
- look around the fire truck
- have a go at the fire hose
- look around the station
- face painting
- fire safety hand outs and advice
- meet some of the team
- if interested in volunteering talk to us about what to expect
What to bring:
- come dressed up
- dress for the conditions hat and sun block
- water for keeping hydrated
