Are you ready to make some awesome, quick presents? This class will teach you how to take a Kimberbell snap tray (which is made of faux leather with the snaps already attached!) You will learn how to center the design and embroider or applique a design of your choice. Then “Presto”, snap your ends together and your project is complete. In the class you will get at least two trays done. The trays come in packs of two.
Materials: (All available at Quilt With Passion. A 10% class supply discount is given upon paid registration)
Small ruler
A package of Kimberbell snap trays. (package comes in red /tan or mint/navy)
OESD Aqua Mesh Plus stabilizer- works the best because the stabilizer will wash away from the back- If you don’t want to use this you can use OESD Stablistick Tear Away stabilizer
If you have wash away topping you can bring it but you don’t have to use it.
Embroidery scissors
Embroidery thread
Water soluble marker
Your embroidery or applique file on a flash drive. You can use 5x5 size or anything close to that as we can resize it if we need to. Try to get one that is more square if possible, just not too elongated.
Embroidery module
Sewing table that attaches to your sewing machine (Optional)
Hoop that will fit a 5x5 design. (If you have a Bernina the midi and/or the oval will work)
If you choose an applique design, you need to bring the pieces of fabric that the design requires.
***Make sure to bring everything you need for machine embroidery for your project.

Class Cancellation/Make-Up Information: If you must cancel a class, please do so at least 7 days before the start of the class. Refunds for these cancellations will be issued in the form of a Quilt With Passion store credit. Store credit may also be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of class if the space is filled by another student. If a class is missed, make up classes may be held at a Sewing School or by arrangements with the instructor to sit in on another class. Make ups must be held within three months of the original class.
