Transitioning to Retirement: A Time of Reflection

Retirement can be a time of joyful renewal! Let’s discuss what is most important to you, what do you love to do, and how will you choose where to place your time and talents.

Can spirituality, self-care, and an appreciation of nature find a place in your daily life?

The program will be facilitated by Maureen Haggerty, a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey with over twenty-five years of experience in Career Counseling. She is dedicated to assisting individuals as they explore “What’s Next?” and begin to answer poet Mary Oliver’s challenging question: "What would you do with your one wild and precious life?"

The program will include discussion, several handouts, quiet contemplation, and, weather permitting, a walk on the lovely paths at Mariandale.

Participants are encouraged to bring a pen and notebook and a willingness to engage.

This is not a financial-planning seminar. The goal of this program is to assist individuals in their transition to retirement.
