A Silent, Guided Retreat: Experiencing God Using St Ignatius' Rules For Discernment

Join Fr. Jeff on an eight-day silent Guided Retreat, and experience God in a new way. This retreat will use imaginative prayer and senses to connect more deeply to engage in conversation with God.

The focus will be on understanding our interiority using the model of Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a means to initiate prayer with God/Jesus/Spirit.

We all have parts of us that are sad, joyful, anxious, discouraged, happy, funny, and more. Having such parts are a natural aspect of adult life. Sharing such interior movements in a familiar way with God/Jesus/Spirit is what Ignatian prayer helps us to do.

Each day will include two talks and mass. There will be ample time to pray.

This retreat is practical, encouraging curiosity, connection and compassion with ourselves and with God! Your time will be enhanced by the tranquility of the 61-acre grounds of Mariandale.

There are walking trails, a labyrinth, beautiful trees, and seasonal inground swimming pool, all looking out on the majestic Hudson River. The Center also has indoor spaces for your relaxation and air-conditioned comfort.
