Are you passionate about wine and want to have even more knowledge about the world of wine? Or perhaps you are a Restaurant Manager, working for an importer or or a wine blogger? Then Level 3 in Wine is the right course for you. This demanding course is suitable for knowledgeable wine lovers as well as wine professionals who want more in-depth and breadth of knowledge of the world of wine.

Students should have completed WSET Level 2 in Wine or a Sommelier education before attempting WSET Level 3 in Wine.

After this course, you will feel confident navigating a broad selection of wines in a restaurant or wine store and have a wealth of knowledge of the major wine regions of the world, and how the local climate influences the viticultural and grape variety choices to produce a diverse range of wine styles and wine quality. After WSET Level 3 in Wine, you will also have sufficient knowledge to confidently begin collecting wines and understand more about drinking windows for fine wines.

Duration: WSET Level 3 in Wine consists of approx. 33 hours of classroom sessions, however, students should expect to apply an additional 50 hours or more of self-study in order to successfully pass this course. Contrary to popular belief, the hardest part of Level 3 in Wine is the theory knowledge. For this reason, Oslo Wine School has developed additional materials to assist students to successfully pass this demanding course.
