The Handover

The Handover's debut album has been dubbed one of the best releases on the cult-label Sublime Frequencies, and this trio has since toured all over Europe with their blend of classical Arabic mastery, urban shaabi, and ritual melodies from Egypts countryside. Inspired by the hypnotic, trance-inducing repetitiveness of music from the Nile-delta, and fueled by kraut-like riffs and the intensity of ‘60s-era avant garde jazz, The Handover's music is a psychedelic journey that doesn't return to earth once it achieves levitation.
