🤔What is Tarraxo?🤔
Tarraxo is a fun new dance style founded in France that has been growing in popularity. It is often seen grouped together with Kizomba, Urban Kiz, and Tarraxinha. It uses the Tarraxinha basics of the hips, uses a closed position, upper and lower body isolations, and steps corresponding with the music with a strong beat.
💃Who is Emily Herle?💃
Emily is a certified Tarraxo dancer and instructor based in Montreal, Canada where she teaches weekly classes and workshops.
Her journey began as a child with ballet, before she discovered country two-step and salsa in 2017. In 2018, she developed a passion for kizomba, began teaching it in her home city right before the pandemic started. In 2021, she traveled across North America to train with renowned artists. Since 2022, she has been living in Montreal, Canada, and taught Kizomba and Urban Kiz for two years before devoting herself fully to Tarraxo. She trained in Paris and got her Tarraxo Tearcher Certification with Gwany and Liliana in South Korea. Her creativity and musical sensitivity enrich her approach, making her an inspiring and passionate teacher.
