The second MUNCH Triennale, Almost Unreal, explores the spaces between the real and the virtual, old and new technologies, dystopian and hopeful visions of the future.
The keynote address by Professor McKenzie Wark, an Australian-born, New York-based writer and scholar renowned for her work on media theory, raving and transsexual narratives. Through a series of panel discussions on gaming, worldbuilding, textiles and altenative futures, the artists are invited to present their work in the exhibition.
The talks are moderated by curators Tominga O’Donnell and Mariam Elnozahy.
There will be complimentary light refreshments and coffee halfway through the talks programme.
McKenzie Wark’s visit to Oslo is made possible by a collaboration with Karmaklubb*
