Known for their visceral mix of VR puppetry, live motion capture, real-time-club-theatre, and stage spectacle, Team Rolfes have collaborated with artists including Lady Gaga, Arca, Danny L Harle, Denzel Curry, and BLACKPINK, as well as institutions like MoMA, Berlin Atonal, and Unsound Festival.
Their work fuses the raw energy of club performance with cutting-edge technology, creating surreal, real-time digital worlds that are as playful as they are boundary-breaking.
Join us at Scene3 at Det Norske Teatret, and hear about their process, their collaborations, and get inspired by how they craft their digital stage universes and blend impulses from both art institutions and the underground club culture scene.
Team Rolfes + friends perform as part of ONLY SLIME's fictional fantasy festival DRAGONBLOOD and Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival on the 16.09. and 17.09. Don't miss this opportunity to hear about their work and process, and to see them live in Norway for the first time EVER.
The event is moderated by Oslo-based performing arts duo ONLY SLIME, and will conclude with an informal mingle.
