We come together in Oslo to share laughter, connect over delicious meals, and enjoy a special trip to Gressholmen island. Look forward to day- and evening milongas, dancing in a space that celebrates openness, creativity, and community.
Expect bold and inspiring DJs from the Scandinavian scene, a live orchestra and the Sunday dance and lunch on the island Gressholmen, with classical tango records on retro gramophone.
Programme, August 22nd. – 24th 2025
Friday 17.00 – 22.00:
Come to the beautiful Kampen Menighetshus for the workshop “Dancing Together” with Omar and Tove. Opel level, everyone is welcome! Lets all warm up and get to know each other from the start :-)
After the workshop, there is the welcoming Milonga featuring DJ Omar. We will serve small snacks and soft drinks, and you may buy a glass of wine.
Saturday 11.00 – 22.00
We meet at 11.00 for milonga at Kampen menighetshus, starting off with DJ’s Nur Yaldız, and moving on to DJ Michal.
We will have a meal together approximately 15.30 (all included in your festival pass).
DJ Patl will play for a few hours during the milonga, while you may sit down for a break and some cake.
At approximately 21.15, the local orchestra will play for us.
At 22.00, your feet are tired, the music will stop, and you can have a quiet walk to your hotel through the summer streets of Oslo.
Sunday 12.00 – 17.00
Our traditional and beloved Picnic by the Fjord!
Starting at Aker brygge, enjoy the boat trip to the island Gressholmen. A beautiful walk through the woods on the island takes you to the charming taverna, where you will meet the legendary DJ Orlando with his classical tango records on his retro gramophone. We will dance in beautiful surroundings until the chef serves the restaurant lunch included in the Festival Pass.

Description of the workshop ”Dancing Together” with Omar and Tove on Friday:
“We will focus on simple techniques for leaders and for followers that enhance the connection we have with our dance partner, as well as with others on the dance floor, in order to make each tanda as beautiful and enjoyable as it can be.”
Festival Pass includes:
All milongas, a workshop on Friday afternoon, live music and a meal on Saturday, a nice restaurant lunch at Gressholmen kro on Sunday. Water and some snacks/coffee/tea/soft drinks will be available during the milongas.
