It is feeling your partners weight, shaping movement together, breathing together and pausing together. It is gliding across the floor, elegantly, or marking the beat, playfully. It is cadencia and phrasing. It is quality of movement. It is all of this and more. It is the first thing you learn, but it takes a lifetime to master, and it can be more enjoyable than all the combinations and tricks you can think of.

What will you learn?
In this 3 hour masterclass we will use a variety of different walking patterns and sequences to highlight the endless possibilities of just walking in tango, with different structures, geometries and techniques, and how they relate to the music. With solo and couple exercises we strengthen the technique, train our muscular control and refine our kinaesthetic sense. And we practice improvising with different structures and musical expressions.
