Get out of your head and into your body.
On January 10, BODYBASED returns with a 5-hour Movement Immersion at Scenehuset. This day explores movement as a practical tool for everyday life, support your breath, move and feel more present in your body.
The immersion blends elements from yoga, dance, meditation, breathwork and strength training into a guided movement experience, supported by carefully curated music.

We’re happy to have Oslo’s pop-up café Nomadic Chai with us throughout the day, creating a warm and nourishing space with their amazing chai.
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤
Warm-up: body scan, gentle breath and movement to ease into the body.
Main part: Guided movement focusing on strength, core work, balance, release, shake, breath, posture, stability and meditation.
Cool-down: Slowing movements and rest, supported by soundscapes.

With a full day together, we’re able to move more gradually, pause, reflect and integrate, and to share more of the frameworks and perspectives that inform our work with BODYBASED. This creates space not just for movement, but for understanding, listening and embodied insight.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬
Heidi and Karen holds extensive education and experience in movement as a health promoting method. With a background in psychology, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, and development work, this forms the foundation of how we develop BODYBASED.
They have led preventive and health-oriented programs, and share a strong commitment make movement movement meaningful and and accessible. BODYBASED do not seek mastery or performance. The core practice is meeting ourselves with more curiosity, presence and compassion.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞
The venue is located at Majorstuen. Its an open-floor venue with lots of space to move. 9 meters from floor to ceiling. Scenehuset was built as a chapel in 1898. Since 1990 Scenehuset has been one of the most important rehearsal spaces for dance productions in Norway.
