Backyard concert - THE GIFT HORSES

The Gift Horses is the ‘nom de plume’ of world folk artist Katuš Young - a carousel of great musicians with whom she’s worked over the years on the road .. all brilliant in their own art form , with a passion to improvise, and follow Katuš’ unique and fluid sound journey .

Kora virtuoso Yankuba Conteh , with whom Katuš has worked since 2013, is joining her fir this tour and he will bring his family’s traditional Gambian music to the stage . The combination of voices and two calabash instruments - Katuš ‘ Hulusi and voice with Yankuba’s Kora is a dream.
