Serve for Kids is an annual event that raises awareness and funds to treat and prevent all forms of child abuse. Did you know that 13 cases of child abuse and neglect are reported EVERY DAY in Kalamazoo County alone?
Serve for Kids begins in the morning with a tennis clinic for our S.T.R.E.E.T. and Niñas Del Corazón program participants. Here they receive instruction and time on the court with the Kalamazoo College Women's Tennis Team to learn about the game. Each child receives a “Swag Bag” with items generously donated by sponsors. Each pack contains new tennis shoes, hygiene products, school supplies, snacks, clothing, and more!
The Serve for Kids Pickleball tournament also kicks off in the morning at the brand-new Latitude 42 Pickleball Complex! Gather your team, hit the courts, and get in on the action for a fun and competitive start to the day.
Join us in the afternoon at West Hills Athletic Club for Ultimate Cardio Tennis and stick around to enjoy our reception, dinner and program. Tickets for dinner may also be purchased separately. All proceeds benefit our S.T.R.E.E.T. & Niñas Del Corazón afterschool programs, and the Bill Wright Children’s Advocacy Center at Community Healing Centers.
