Spooky Season is almost here and the Caramel Crisp Bookstore is so ready to celebrate all things curious and creepy! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, October 11th and 12th, for a gathering of writers and artists of the spooky sort!
Both days of the event will feature authors who write the stories that make your pulse race and your skin crawl. See the Event Discussion for details about all the amazing local artists and writers that will be joining us as the event approaches.
We will also be featuring a very special Blind Date with a Book, Bookshop of Horrors Edition, on both Saturday and Sunday. Bookshop of Horrors Curiosity Boxes will also be available while supplies last. And there will be Tarot readers on hand to help you plumb the mysteries of the spirit world!
On Saturday, one of our very own Caramel Crisp Caramelistas will be bringing her tarantulas, lizards and snakes to the Bookstore for everyone to meet! And, from 1 pm to 5 pm, Caramel Crisp will be a stop on the Downtown Oshkosh Boos and Brews Seltzer and Cider Stroll (tickets available on the Downtown Oshkosh Website).
Sunday, October 12th, The Little Bookshop of Horrors will be especially exciting for aspiring authors! We will have a developmental editor on hand to talk about the process of self publishing and you can sign up to win free developmental editing services for your book! These special Author-centric features are available on Sunday only.
