About the event

Live performance: Dollar-a-Day Boys
Step back in time and experience the grit, spirit and song of the Great Depression era as Oshkosh Public Library hosts an entertaining evening of historical storytelling and live performance under the Dome. on Thurs., Sept. 18, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Author, historian and performer Bill Jamerson brings history to life in this one-man show that celebrates the legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), a bold New Deal program that reshaped America’s landscape and its future. Dressed in authentic CCC uniform, Jamerson blends original music, dramatic readings from his novel Big Shoulders, and firsthand accounts from CCC veterans collected over three decades.

Laughter, nostalgia and heart-felt stories will make this an evening to remember! Complete information is at https://bit.ly/4mVvbKI
