Partners of the Oshkosh Healthy Aging Group are organizing a volunteer event to engage neighborhoods in a day of yard cleanup.
Event Date: Sunday, November 9th, 2025
Event Time: Starting at 10 a.m.
Residents must pre-register for assistance by Monday, November 3rd. Priority is given to people with disabilities or aging conditions that may make leaf and yard waste removal difficult.

Event Information:
Volunteers will meet at the Oshkosh Seniors Center at 10 a.m. to create small teams and delegate house assignments. Volunteers will need to arrange their own transit from Oshkosh Seniors Center to assigned yard cleanup locations.
There will be a few rakes to lend and some of the homes will supply them, please bring extras as you can.
Plan to work for up to 2 hours, depending on yard size and location your team may travel to more than one home.
Residents are asked to be home and available during the morning.
Leaf blowers can be brought, no other power tools such as trimmers/chainsaws will be permissible.
Volunteers can return to the senior center at any point before they close at noon to return equipment, rest, and socialize.

Dress in layers, gloves are advised - if there is a significant amount of snow the event will be canceled and communicated
