August Oshkosh Garden Club - Sheldon Nature Walk, Potluck and Meeting

Join us for a Potluck and self guided tour of the Sheldon Nature Area located at Oakwood School. Tucked behind Oakwood Elementary School, Sheldon Nature Area, offers endless learning opportunities. At least eight native Wisconsin ecosystems exist or are under development in the area including prairie, wetland, wet-mesic forest, old field, evergreen forest, oak savanna, pond, and stream. We will have a Potluck and our business meeting. While there are picnic tables you may want to bring a folding chair, bug spray and a dish to pass.

DIRECTIONS: The Sheldon Nature Preserve, 1225 N. Oakwood Rd is behind the Oakwood Elementary School. Park in the Oakwood School parking lot and cut across the grass. There will be a sign indicating the Nature Preserve.
