Celebrate Culture, Community, and Remembrance
Join us for a vibrant, family-friendly Día de los Muertos celebration at the Oshkosh Public Museum on Saturday, October 11, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM! Admission to the Museum and all event activities is completely free—all are welcome.
This cultural celebration is a joyful way to honor the lives of those who’ve passed while experiencing the music, dance, art, and storytelling traditions that make this day so meaningful.
🌼 Event Highlights Include:
🎺 Live Performances in the Main Tent:
• 10:30 AM & 1:00 PM: Mariachi Corcel de Madison
• 11:30 AM & 2:00 PM: Hola’s Grupo Folklorico
• 3:00 PM: Heart of the Beast Puppet Theatre
🎭 Heart of the Beast Puppet Theatre from Minneapolis:
• Four puppet and mask storytelling sessions throughout the day in the Oshkosh Public Library Tent, sponsored by Fox Communities Credit Union, culminating in a final performance at 3 PM in the Main Tent.
🧡 Ofrenda Display (Now Open):
• Honor a loved one by contributing their photo to the Museum’s Día de los Muertos Ofrenda, now on view through November 1.
• To participate, email a copy of your photo to

• Please note: Photos will not be returned, so we ask that you only send copies.

• Diablos Taco Truck and Moo's Ice Cream
Attend the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre program on Friday, October 10 at the Oshkosh Public Library. The masks created will be used in the storytelling session at Dia de los Muertos. Registration is required - To register online for the Dia De Los Muertos Mask Making with Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Making Theatre, Friday, Oct. 10 from 5 to 7 pm
