A Holiday Tradition Returns to Orrington!
We’re so excited to announce that after all the Halloween fun, Orrington Old Home Week is keeping the celebration going—this time for Christmas!
Who remembers when the old fire station lit up the big tree beside it each year? Well, in honor of that beloved tradition, we’re bringing it back—this time at our new, beautiful fire station at 271 Center Drive!
Join us on Saturday, November 29th from 4:30–6:00 PM (ish) for a cozy, family-friendly evening filled with:
🎄 The lighting of our town tree (with a fun countdown!)
☕ Hot cocoa, candy canes & yummy treats courtesy of Hannaford
🎁 A gorgeous sponsored tree from Kings Mountain Trees of Orrington
🎨 Festive wooden cutouts made by one of our talented young local artists—perfect for photos!
🎶 Carol singing, games, and plenty of holiday cheer
Our Citizens of the Year will have the honor of flipping the switch to light up the tree as the sun sets.
Let’s make this a new (old) Orrington tradition together—we can’t wait to see you there! ❤️
We want to big a shout out and a huge thank you to our sponsors: Hannaford and Kings Mountain!!!
