Join us for a vibrant and affirming Coming Out Day celebration full of stories, connection, creativity, and community! Whether you're out, questioning, or showing up in support, there's something for everyone. Please note, post approval is turned on that way we will (hopefully) avoid scammers commenting.
🎤 Panels/tables 2–6 PM - exact schedule coming soon
We’ll host a series of panels throughout the afternoon, including:
-A conversation with a couple of queer authors and poets from our community.
- A panel/Q&A on how to be there for loved ones as they come out.
- A Storytelling Circle for people to share their coming out story or just come to listen. (Want to share your story? Let us know!)
- Education on safe binding practices + a community art project.
📚 Pride in Our Stories Project - 12–6 PM
Help us preserve our collective history. Sam will be collecting personal coming out stories one-on-one throughout the day for our Pride in Our Stories project. We will be scheduling times to share stories and will also welcome drop ins!
🎨 Button Making Station - 12-6pm
Make your own pronoun pins, identity buttons, and just-for-fun designs!
🌈 Queer Hangout - 6–8 PM
Wind down the day with snacks, music, and chill vibes. Meet new friends, reconnect with community, and just be.
All are welcome. Let’s celebrate queer truth, resilience, and joy, together.
The Wilson Center has an ADA accessible entrance, but it should be noted that wheelchair users who use the lower entrance would need to exit, go up a hill, and in a different entrance to use restrooms.
We will not have an ASL interpreter available at this event. If you are an interpreter, or know one, and would like to help out, please email us at
