Saturday, September 20, from 12-2pm, we will explore Planting Central Florida Fall and Winter edible gardens: What to plant, when, and demonstrate how to prepare beds with natural inputs.
There will be seed-sharing from donations so please bring something to put the seeds you select in and bring any seeds you want to share or other items for the sharing table.
We will serve up a food forest harvest lunch. From now on, I want to set up lunch so folks can simply serve themselves as they wish so they don't miss out if they come later, leaver earlier or are just hungry in the moment. Please message me if you can help set up and/or host the food service.
Everyone is welcome, come solo, or bring kids along, and please message if you need accessible parking. This is a no-cost event.
The foundation of our mission is to work within our local residential communities to help by demonstrating ways to support our own food needs by growing, using local resources, collaborating with local growers and educators while protecting our natural heritage and legacy to future Floridians. Together, we can realize our own pursuits of accessible whole foods and healthy environments that also support wildlife and new landscaping for abundance by design.
