"Design Elements with Mixed Media" with Christine Peloquin

ISEA Innovation Symposium 1-Day Workshop at OMAM
Thursday, Sept. 18 | 10:30am - 3:30pm

Learn the joys of mixed media collage. This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of collage and design and challenge artists to unlock and find their inner voice. Artists will be working with gelli plate printing on paper and fabrics to create original and colorful mono-prints. Artists will use the mono-prints they have made, along with papers, fabrics, and found objects to create collages on wood, canvas boards or even over past work. Artists are encouraged to incorporate some of their own prior artwork or their own personal stash of fabrics and paper, into new pieces. Christine's goal is to create a fun time that introduces new techniques in a comfortable learning environment to enhance where students already are.
