Interactive Seminar: Walking for Health and Happiness

The OUC Adult Education committee has invited Ron Hunt to present a free interactive 90-minute seminar about the health benefits and spiritual side of hiking and walking.

Get some tips on how to make this activity a regular part of your
lifestyle. Then join Ron on an easy, urban walk on Saturday, September 20, for fellowship and fresh perspectives.

No experience necessary!

Ron has extensive experience with hiking and walking.
In his volunteer roles with the Rideau Trail Association (RTA), he has presented a one-day Introduction to Hiking course to over 100 participants in partnership with his spouse, Ruth, and he has led many hikes for the RTA over the past 40 years.

He has completed several long-distance walks: Portuguese Coastal Camino (260 km.), Chemin de Outaouais (Ottawa-Montreal 240 km.), Pukaskwa Coastal Trail (60 km.), as well as end-to-end hikes of the Rideau Trail (300km.) and Oak Ridges Moraine Trail (260 km.).
