They pioneered bourbon's evolution with a signature "secondary finishing" process, starting with classic maturation in charred oak barrels, then aging the whiskey further in specially selected casks. This innovative technique creates a uniquely refined, complex, and inviting flavor that sets Angel's Envy apart.
The name comes from the "Angel's Share," the portion of spirit lost to evaporation during aging. Legend has it, after tasting their whiskey, Lincoln Henderson joked that they'd finally struck a better deal than the angels themselves.
