Pete Ayres Quartet

Jazz Series- Pete Ayres is a pianist, vocalist and songwriter based in NYC. Ayres’ voice ranges from smooth and airy to raw and soulful, while his piano playing is a mix of jazz and modern sounds. Ayres has performed on major stages and music festivals along the East coast and Midwest, including Birdland Theater, Blue Note, Brooklyn Bowl, Bowery Ballroom, Hippodrome Theater, and featured as an artist for the Jazz on the lawn series in Atlanta GA.

The quartet is based in NYC and features Pete Ayres on vocals and piano, bassist Jeff Koch, guitarist Aleksi Glick and Nathan Ellman-bell on drums.

This concert will showcase their latest EP “Brooklyn Garden”, along with some standards from the great American songbook.
