Last Minute Holiday Gifts in Metalsmithing 2-Week Open Studio

Join us for a special two-session Metalsmithing Open Studio designed for those with at least basic skills who want dedicated time, space, and support to create unique holiday gifts. With access to professional tools, equipment, and guidance, participants can bring their own ideas to life—whether it’s jewelry, small decorative objects, or custom keepsakes. This open format allows you to work at your own pace, refine techniques, and finish pieces that are truly personal and handmade treasures for the season.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate - basic torch soldering experience preferred

Date: Mondays, December 2 and 9, 2025

Time: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Fingernail Moon Jewelry Studio at FAVO

Fee: $100 **PLUS METAL (all materials provided except silver)

Students will be provided with all tools and consumable materials required for use during class, but students are welcome to bring their own personal hand tools.

FAVO - Faith Arts Village Orlando - is located at 221 E. Colonial Dr. in downtown Orlando, just a few blocks east of I-4. Put the address 718 Highland Ave. into your GPS to get to the first parking lot. To enter the facility, turn north on Highland from Colonial, there is a stoplight, and enter the second driveway on the left, through a black fence. You will see a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". Proceed through the parking lot to the far right and rear and on through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. You will see an L-shaped building with colorful doors - that's us! I am studio 237, second from the end upstairs on the right. Look for the moons!
