Gnome for the Holidays Make a Tiny Silver Gnome 2-Week Workshop

Let your creative juices sparkle this holiday season by crafting a one-of-a-kind miniature gnome in pure silver! This hands-on class will guide you through the entire process of transforming precious metal clay into a beautifully detailed, tiny silver gnome, perfect for gifting or as a stunning piece of holiday décor.

In this class, you will learn:

• Techniques for shaping and texturing precious metal clay to form the structure of your little fellow.
• How to add details like nose, feet, beard and hat to bring your design to life.
• The process of drying, refining, and firing the clay to reveal pure, fine silver.
• Finishing touches, including polishing and adding any final embellishments.

No prior experience with precious metal clay is necessary—this class is designed for all skill levels. Our expert instructor will provide personalized guidance and all the materials needed for your project. By the end of the class, you'll leave with a beautiful, handmade silver gnome to treasure for years to come.

• Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced - experience helps but not required
• Date: Mondays, November 10 and 17, 2025
• Time: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

• Fee: $150, includes 20 grams of fine silver metal clay

Students will be provided with all tools and materials required for use during class, but students are welcome to bring their own personal tools. Additional clay will be available for purchase at a discounted price of $26 per 10 gram pack.

Fingernail Moon Jewelry Studio is located in FAVO - Faith Arts Village Orlando, 718 Highland Ave. To enter the facility, turn north on Highland from Colonial, there is a stoplight, and enter the second driveway on the left, through a black fence. You will see a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". Proceed through the parking lot to the far right and rear and on through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. You will see an L-shaped building with colorful doors - that's us! I am studio 237, second from the end upstairs on the right. Look for the moons!
