Community Dinner & Meal Swap! 💞

Join us for a free meal, lovingly prepared by the APC team! This dinner is open to all Queer Disabled community and our loved ones. Stop by for a to-go plate, or hang out and play games with us! We’ll be bringing a variety of board and card games for folks to play together.

Vegan and gluten free options will be available for dinner. Please RSVP by 12/10 so we can keep your allergen and dietary needs in mind as we choose the dishes we will serve. If you don’t RSVP, you can still attend — we just can’t guarantee we’ll be prepared for your dietary accommodations. The dinner menu will be announced before the event! If you’d like to bring additional dishes, drinks, or desserts to share with everyone, you’re more than welcome to (but absolutely not required)!

As an added way to nourish and provide for each other, we’re having a meal swap! Bring 4 meals, take 4 home! Here’s the breakdown:

1. RSVP to sign up for the meal swap by 12/10! If you don’t RSVP, we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to participate in the swap (but you can still take part in the community dinner!).
2. Bring at least 4 individually-packaged servings of a meal you prepared at home. The meal can be anything nutritious that you feel comfortable making and sharing with others.
3. Meals should be packaged in disposable containers, or reusable containers that you don’t mind not getting back.
4. Please bring clearly printed labels for each of your containers, including potential allergens and a full list of ingredients.
5. Leave your meals out for other folks to choose from, then take 4 new meals home with you!

Accessibility:

Masks are required (and will be provided) while indoors and not eating/drinking. An air purifier will be running indoors. There will be outdoor seating available.

Event Address is 316 E Marks St (Quakers of Orlando). Parking is available on site. Event will take place in the main meeting house, which has a wheelchair accessible entrance (small raise at the threshold) and restroom. There will be overhead lighting. We will be playing music in the background, and will be mindful to keep volume low.
