Blessing of the Animals

Join us for one of the Cathedral’s most joyful traditions—the Blessing of the Animals! Each year, we give thanks for the beloved creatures who bring joy to our lives. Bring your pets—furry, feathered, or scaled—for a special blessing as we celebrate God’s creation together.

All animals should be properly restrained for their safety and the safety of others. The service is held rain or shine, and all are welcome to take part in this celebration of God’s creatures great and small.
