Award-winning author and poet, Aaron Woodson is currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a military combat veteran. Aaron is 40 years old and born on May 6th, 1983. He served in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Air National Guard for 15 years. Originally a Vallejo, California native, he attended and graduated from Vallejo High School. Shortly after that he began his military career. He's participated in military campaigns such as Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve.

At a very young age, Aaron began to have an interest and passion for poetry. He began to write poems at school and he loved writing so much that he told his parents that someday he would publish his very own book. Aaron gets his inspiration to write from his spirituality, traveling, singing, music, positive quotes, experiences, etc. He enjoys meeting people, going to church, writing, dancing, singing, acting, watching sports, exploring, and going to the gym. Aaron is a very hard-working, kind-hearted, strong-minded, and has a charming personality. His favorite football team is the Oakland Raiders. Aaron has been all over the world though out his life journey. He lived in New Mexico from 2008 to 2016.

In June 2016, Aaron decided to move to Jacksonville, Florida and presently lives there now. He decided to write several of his now completed books series entitled The Face of Expression, The Face of Expression 2: In Your Face, and The Face of Expression 3: Fall of A King since living here. The books are primarily about expression. The poetry books have some story-telling, emotionally moving, and non-fiction clips to it. Each of the books highlight topics about life, love, pain, struggle, rejection, faith, relationships, success, failures, and experiences. He completed the book The Face of Expression in 2018, followed by the sequel in 2020, and finally the latest in 2023. The Face of Expression is published through Author House Publishing.
