We are thrilled to invite you to the 10th Lace-Up to Buckle-Up 5K, hosted by the Always Wear Your Seatbelt Foundation! 🎽🧡🚗
What started as a way to honor the lives of Laura Grant and Eddie Culberhouse has grown into a movement — and this year marks a HUGE milestone as we host our 10th fundraising race.
While we’ve been running this event for a decade, the mission remains the same: inspiring teens to make safe choices behind the wheel and influence others to always wear their seatbelt.
With your support, we’ve grown to 6+ ambassador clubs in Central Florida high schools, created meaningful partnerships with local businesses, and reached tens of thousands of people who have pledged to AWYS.
🙌 Why This Year Matters
This year, we’re going all in on fundraising to support our growing programs:
🚸 Expanding ambassador clubs to more schools
👩🏫 Providing trauma education presentations to our schools with Orlando Health
🎓 Offering scholarships to graduating seniors
💬 Installing awareness signage and launching campus safety campaigns
