Paul Snyder is headlining the evening with his unique blend of humor and relatable storytelling. Paul is a rising star in the world of comedy a regular performer at clubs and theaters nationwide. In 2024 he released his debut DryBar Comedy special “I Left the House for This” which has already garnered over 1.2 million views on YouTube. His comedy is family-friendly offering a mix of personal anecdotes and observational humor that resonate with audiences of all ages. With a laid-back delivery and a knack for making even the smallest crowds feel like old friends his performances are consistently warm engaging and entertaining.
 
Sid Davis is the featured comedian known for his unique comedic style and infectious wit and non-stop laughter. He turns everyday events into hilarious stories. He gained significant recognition in 2014 when the late Joan Rivers selected him as her opening act for her comedy tour after viewing over 200 comedians. Growing up in Ohio Sid was influenced by comedy legends such as Red Skelton Garry Shandling and Johnny Carson. He is funny without being vulgar and audiences of all ages find him hilarious. Sid’s phenomenal and unlikely success story in the comedy business began after retiring from his airline mechanic career at age 50. His first Comedy Time TV spot earned the highest-rank and he was voted “Best in Fest” for 3 years at the San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival. After you see his one-of-a-kind show you too will agree with Joan Rivers. “Sid Davis is terrific! He’s a walking sitcom!”

Box Office opens at 6:00 PM and tickets may be available at that time. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance begins. Wine and soft drinks will be available by donation to The Old Theater a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and venue for performing arts in Oriental and Eastern North Carolina. The theater is located at 609 Broad Street in Oriental.
