The Archonette Club is an auxiliary group of inner city young ladies between the ages of 14-17. The program is designed to help young ladies grow culturally, socially and educationally. The young ladies participate in various community service endeavors on a local and national level and attend workshop focused on individual growth. The teenagers meet twice a month to complete community service programs and workshops in Brooklyn. Since the club's inception in SKZ, the Archonettes have volunteered their time and participated in service programs such as call banking at NYC Votes, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, NY Cares Brooklyn Clean up, NY Cares Coat drive, Toys for Tots Brooklyn YMCA, Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts for the residents of Red Hook, donation of toys/ toy drive for Woman In Need Shelter where they purchased and delivered toys to the children.
