Zeta's mission is to build and sustain high-performing schools that forge thriving communities of lifelong learners, problem solvers, and innovators. In August 2018, Zeta Charter Schools launched its first two schools in New York City. Zeta Bronx 1 Elementary serves children in the South Bronx, and Zeta Inwood 1 Elementary serves children in Inwood and Washington Heights (Upper Manhattan). These flagship Zeta schools currently serve kindergarten to 2nd grade and will grow one grade each year until they serve pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. Every child deserves an excellent, free education that mines his or her unique and highest potential. We welcome and serve children from all walks of life, whether they have been New Yorkers all their lives, whether they arrived yesterday, whether they speak English, whether they have a big home or no home, whether they can whiz through school or need special supports.
