Nicole Grossberg is the co-founder of Zero Waste NYC Workshop. She is a full-time freelance content creator and educator in the zero waste and sustainability space. She works with clients that include NY Sun Works, CleanChoice Energy and other sustainability-focused organizations. The Zero Waste NYC Workshop series is in partnership with the Foundation for New York's Strongest, the official nonprofit of the NYC Department of Sanitation. The mission of the workshop series is to make a low waste lifestyle approachable for people through education and empowerment. Prior to freelancing, Nicole worked at various advertising agencies with clients such as The Gap, Weight Watchers, Kenneth Cole, and Alaska Airlines. She started transitioning to a low waste lifestyle in 2017 and has since become an advanced practitioner. In 2018 she decided to leave her advertising career behind to pursue her passion for fighting climate change. She now uses her experiences and voice to educate and inspire others to adopt a low waste lifestyle through her workshops and events.
