YWCA Allentown's Perfect Fit Program

The Perfect Fit for Working Women is the signature program of YWCA Allentown. The Perfect Fit is a true community collaboration, created by 5 local organizations in 2000. The program has since grown to accept referrals from more than 75 social and community service agencies, and has helped more than 12,000 unemployed and underemployed women in the Lehigh Valley prepare to enter or reenter the workforce by providing career clothing , job readiness training, professional development, mentoring, and paid work experience, all at no cost to them. Our clients become more confident, with increased self-esteem and an enhanced capacity to succeed, both personally and professionally.Our ability to serve in this unique way depends on the generosity of individuals and businesses within our community.Donations are taken by appointment during business hours. We accept modern, current season, new and gently used business and business casual clothing, shoes, handbags, and costume jewelry along with scrubs, nursing shoes, and winter coats. New makeup, toiletries, and undergarments are always appreciated.Appointments are available by referral only.
