YouRban is a pioneering initiative that fosters a collaborative, sustainable, and inclusive urban ecosystem for recycling reinforced polymers.In Milan, YouRban will host a 10-day event in autumn 2025 focused on material recycling and creative reuse. At the heart of the event is a mobile recycling plant housed in a truck, which will move across the city and be open to all.The event will bring together citizens, artists, designers, architects, and small producers to co-create new objects using recycled materials. Activities include training sessions, knowledge-sharing workshops, community consultations, and artistic residencies. Urban Factories will also take part, supported by a Cascade Funding mechanism.This initiative is aligned with the New European Bauhaus and the EU Green Deal, aiming to combine aesthetic innovation with environmental responsibility and social inclusion, building a more circular and community-centered city.
