As the second oldest women's press club in the nation, the Women's Press Club of Pittsburgh strives to honor its past and forge into the future by providing a place for women in the news media — journalists, writers, editors, photographers, broadcasters, public relations professionals, and their supporters. We welcome new members to our many events, which offer forums for networking and education about trends in the industry. As part of our mission, we seek to encourage future generations of journalists by annually awarding dedicated students with the Gertrude Gordon Memorial Fund scholarship .
