Hi! I’m Willow. I hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from New York University as well as two masters degrees: one in Sex & Couples Therapy and another in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I’ve been teaching university students in Barcelona for the last 3 years, most notably in my course The Psychology of Human Sexuality. What I find most fulfilling about facilitating important discussions is opening minds, generating empathy between people who were previously set in rigid ways of thinking, and cultivating connection on the universality of our emotional experiences as humans. This sense of togetherness is vital as an expat living abroad, and it can be difficult to open up to new friends. It is my pleasure to create a judgement-free space in which everyone feels not only welcome but encouraged to be their authentic selves. I am convinced that authenticity accompanies all levels of self-development and is the crux of self-esteem. By being my own nerdy, silly self I encourage you to embrace your sexualities with the assurance that even if you didn't receive the best sex ed in the past, it's never too late to rewrite that script.
