Follow Voices In DialogueVoices in Dialogue (ViD)is a non-profit established in Ottawa in 2007 to promote peace and open dialogue among peoples with Anatolian roots.~ Inspired by the life and vision of journalist and human rights activist,Hrant Dink, ViD creates communication venues for sharing personal stories and contributing to wider knowledge about historical events, in particular the eradication of the Armenian people and culture in Anatolia after 1915. ViD’s aim is to raise awareness of a shared heritage by organizing cultural events in order to foster greater understanding and facilitate the healing process between Anatolian cultures.~ Every year, around the anniversary of Hrant Dink's assassination on 19 January 2007, ViD hosts theAnnual Hrant Dink Memorial Lecture on Freedom of Expression and Peacebuilding.
