Voices Heard is a group of associated writers who do monthly performances. The cast of writers tends to rotate, and we are always looking for new, fresh talent to share with us. The basic format of the event: a topic is selected (examples: Haircuts, Childhood Toys, or Bad Dates) and each writer prepares a 10-12 minute piece to share in a spoken word format with a gathered audience. The presentations generally have a lot of heart, humor, and spirit, so prepare to cry, laugh, and be inspired all at once!Chad Anderson first launched this group in April of 2017, and has organized it monthly ever since, performing with the group each time. Voices Heard's first ticketed event is scheduled for September, 2018.
