As a Designated Downtown, Vergennes has received substantial benefits over the last 12 years, including tax credits and grants for rehabilitation and improvements. Now, in 2011, the Partnership is being re-energized with an expanded Board, enthusiastic volunteers, and eager partner organizations. Everyone is ready to once again leverage our Historic Downtown Designation to make Vergennes a healthier, more vibrant city for its residents of Vergennes and the greater area, business owners, employees and visitors.
