Latise M. Howie- Author, TV/Radio Host, Motivational SpeakerLatise M. Howie is a 2x, award-winning author, born in Charlotte, NC and raised in nearby Concord, NC. She is also the host of the Radio and TV show, “Queen City Up Close” at 72.9 The Voice Radio Media News and Entertainment Network. Latise attended high school at Northwest Cabarrus High and is also a proud product of North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, where she majored in Political Science, with a minor in Public Administration. Latise is the 3X published author of The Chronicles Trilogy. She is excited about the release of her next novel, at end of this month. Latise has a deep love for her community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for three non-profit organizations, Inspire the Fire, Protégé 99 and AHD Family Services. She is also the Charlotte chairperson for Girls Who Brunch, an empowerment movement for girls ages 9-17. Latise believes her greatest accomplishment is raising her three amazing children. She stresses the importance practicing a healthy, fulfilled lifestyle and focuses on teaching self-determination, self-empowerment, and self-love. She has instilled these character traits in her children by setting the example. Latise continues to be committed to developing her gifts and talents to help empower others and most of all, to glorify God.
