University of York SVLOs

As Sexual Violence Liaison Officers at the University of York, we are trying to educate, raise awareness and support staff and students to start challenging and influencing conversations about sexual violence within our University community and wider society. We also provide specialist support to University of York students who have been impacted in any way by sexual violence. This can involve a one-off information session or ongoing support around the impact of their experience. We are now on Social Media with an aim to promote self care and wellbeing, to shout about other specialist support services available and to raise awareness of sexual violence and the support we are able to provide within the University.
