The Garnet & Black Excellence Weekend was a resounding success, featuring a diverse array of captivating events. The concert by PJ Morton, the Mixer with pioneers, the Gala, and the screening of the film The Six Triple Eight were among the highlights. The viewing of the movie was an inspiring two hours. We were honored to have the late LTC Charity Adams’ son attend. He provided such a wealth of information about his mother and others who were part of such a prestigious unit. The weekend’s offerings left a lasting impression, solidifying its status as a memorable experience. We extend our gratitude to all the Black Alumni who worked diligently to ensure the success of this event.
