At the 2025 Annual Uganda Independence Gala & Party, guests will be treated to a dynamic musical lineup featuring renowned Ugandan artist Angela Kalule, celebrated for her soulful Afrobeat and Highlife rhythms. Suuna Nakibinge of the Crown Vocal Band will also perform, bringing powerful vocals and rich cultural music to the stage. Adding to the vibrant entertainment, MoEazy will present contemporary sounds blending Uganda’s musical heritage with modern influences. The gala will also showcase captivating cultural performances that highlight Uganda’s diverse traditions.A highlight of the evening will be the Fashion Show Night, expertly organized by Edith Muyinda, featuring traditional and contemporary Ugandan fashion that celebrates the elegance and creativity of Ugandan designers. Edith Muyinda is a celebrated Ugandan fashion designer based in Denver, Colorado, and the owner of Byasima Couture. Edith is also the founder and director of notable events like The African Fashion Show Denver and African Fashion Week Denver, which highlight African culture through fashion. Her work includes the use of traditional materials such as barkcloth, an eco-friendly fabric significant in Ugandan culture, which she has creatively incorporated into contemporary designs.This fusion of music, culture, and fashion promises an immersive and memorable celebration of Ugandan pride and unity in Colorado.
