Victoria Christopher Murray is an amazing story teller. I loved learning about her process and research for writing Harlem Rhapsody. The story of Jessie Redmond Fauset was fascinating and made me want to dive right in with reading the book. I was also very surprised to learn that the story revolves around Jessie's relationship with a very famous and highly regarded person in Black history. Mrs. Christopher Murray was a delight to listen to and I would definitely be interested in attending another event to hear her speak about her writing.
