Launched in April of 2018, the Center is dedicated to raising awareness levels of cybersecurity issues and supporting the development of Cyber Defense (CD) expertise in all UNCW Students, Faculty, and Staff as is appropriate to their chosen academic discipline or vocation. While the primary mission is supporting deep understanding of and intensive training in cyber topics for future CD professionals, the UNCW Center for CDE (UNCW-CCDE) also strongly advocates a more savvy cyber posture for practitioners of all academic disciplines, occupations, and walks of life. The Center is under the auspices of the Dean of the CSB and based within the Department of Business Analytics, Information Systems & Supply Chain (BAISSC).
