The Triangle Trails Initiative is a collaborative effort to make our region a national leader in greenways and trails. We assist local governments and organizations with planning, promoting, developing, and maintaining their greenway, trail, bike/pedestrian, and blueway projects. County and local departments can apply for funding and support through our special projects program that focuses on empowering new trail networks, active construction, and long-term maintenance across the Triangle area.
